Our 255nm UVC wavelength LED Array opens the door to exciting new applications—from high-energy photochemistry to polymer resin curing and surface disinfection—making this one of the most versatile and powerful additions to the Lumidox® lineup.
Because 255nm “light” sits deep in the ultraviolet spectrum, specialized materials are needed to properly transmit this wavelength. Analytical’s Engineering team has developed a custom lens solution for the 255nm Array using precision quartz, and have sourced novel quartz vials for samples as they are fully transparent to UVC. New PCB designs were also implemented to support the unique power requirements of UVC LEDs, and specialized spectrometers capable of accurately calibrating at 255nm to ensure system performance and reliability were procured.
