- Block is a modified version of 96970, featuring a black bottom plate with larger diameter holes (4mm, compared to 2.5mm) for microscopy and other imaging applications
- Non-counterbored holes minimize focusing issues and/or light scattering.*
- Anodized black for minimal interference with images
- For birefringent polarized light microscopy
- Works perfectly with both reflective and transmission optical microscopy
- Ideal for taking microscope images of solids for crystallization screening on microscale
* Note: Because there are no counterbores, the 961970 is not recommended for use with Lumidox®
